The Planning department oversees land-use planning and the daily functions of development and zoning review. Because Lewisville is largely developed with limited vacant land available, the department focuses on high-impact opportunities for Lewisville.

Development Review Committee (DRC)

The DRC hosts Pre-Development meetings to give potential developers the opportunity to discuss a project with various department representatives. The meetings are held on Wednesdays either in-person or virtually.
