Number of Animal Intakes Per Month - Past Year
This chart plots the different number of animal intakes the shelter had each month in the past year excluding this month last year.
In the past year the number of intakes we've had has stayed fairly consistent despite a small drop in the beginning of the year.

Different Animals Impounded in the past year
The Gene Carey Animal Shelter and Adoption Center encounter many different kinds of animals in their day to day work.
Impounded animals include all stray, escaped, or surrendered animals held at the animal shelter within the last 365 days.
While the majority are cats and dogs, many other pets and wildlife are brought into the shelter as well.
